The Sprouls. Our “couple” friends whom we adore with all of our hearts.

The biggest downfall to our friendship is that they live just outside of London, about a 4-5 hour drive away. Their kids are both 6 months older than our kids, so our semi-annual visits are always so fascinating to see how they all have grown.

On this particular visit, they celebrated four years married. So I encouraged them to get some new family photos done and carve out a few minutes for some shots of just the two of them. I am SO glad we did, and I think they are too 🙂

♥ You’ve been together for SEVENTEEN years! WOW. What’s your secret? 

Nichole: “Respect each other totally, make time for the little things, acknowledge and support each others interests and always remember that we were best friends first.” 

Kaitlyn, Chris and their adorable daughter Everly embraced the warm sunshine before it sank behind the lilac trees to capture some sweet sweet moments a few weeks back. I am so thrilled to have finally gotten these three in front of my lens.

 ♥ What is your love story?

“Our love story is a simple one! We met a time or two a few years before becoming an item! A couple of years later (on a night out on the town) our eyes met across the room. Being the ever social butterfly he is, Chris came over and asked for my MSN name…we are showing our age with that detail! When I got home that night there was a message waiting for me and the rest is history as they say!” 

♥ What is your favourite thing to do as a family? 

Katie // “Between our hour-long commutes, Chris’s shift work, and my odd hours, we don’t get a lot of time together as a whole family. For that reason I would have to say our most favourite thing to do is stay home and have what Chris calls “from pyjamas to pyjamas” days! We drink our coffee extra slow on those mornings and just watch our beautiful, Everly flourish!”
