Emma & Jeff Engaged- Kingston Wedding Photographer

Emma and Jeff. I am so excited to be apart of your wedding day next summer, especially after our dreamy engagement session. You’d never believe how nervous these two were to be photographed since they look utterly in love and comfortable in these special images. Thank you for putting your trust in me.

With love, Chels.

What is your love story? How did you two meet?

Emma: “The way we met reminds me of how crazy life is, and how the tiniest moment of spontaneity can change your life course. In my third year of University at Queen’s, my roommate Sharon and I decided that this was the year to meet new people! It was our second year living on Birch Street and we hadn’t met a single neighbour. Our efforts didn’t go very far, since we only met one house… but, as fate would have it, it was the best one to meet because Jeff lived there! Had we met the boys in that particular house the year before, Jeff wouldn’t have been there and we may have never met – but luckily, this was his choice of residence for third year. Our friend groups became fast friends, and we all spent most weekends together. I thought Jeff was ever so handsome, and got a kick out of his shock-value sense of humour. Over the course of the next year, Jeff and I gradually became closer and we started dating. Who knew that a spontaneous knock on the door could lead to my future husband!”

What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day?

Jeff: “I’m most looking forward to seeing Emma in her dress. Another great part will be having fun with all our friends there to celebrate with us.”

Emma: “I am most excited about seeing Jeff for the very first time. I can’t wait to spend those first few moments alone and be so excited about what the day will have in store for us!”

Andrew and Ashley – Kingston Wedding Photographer

Andrew and Ashley are some of the most in-love people I have ever met, so I was incredibly honoured and excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding at her family home in Westport.  It had all the dreamiest details from their ceremony in the courtyard to his mom’s famous carrot cake served by the wedding party, and everything in between.

Congratulations to the happy travelling couple. I hope you enjoy.

With love, Chels.
