The Bells

Kaitlyn, Chris and their adorable daughter Everly embraced the warm sunshine before it sank behind the lilac trees to capture some sweet sweet moments a few weeks back. I am so thrilled to have finally gotten these three in front of my lens.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

With love, Chels.

♥ What is your love story?

“Our love story is a simple one! We met a time or two a few years before becoming an item! A couple of years later (on a night out on the town) our eyes met across the room. Being the ever social butterfly he is, Chris came over and asked for my MSN name…we are showing our age with that detail! When I got home that night there was a message waiting for me and the rest is history as they say!”

♥ What is your favourite thing to do as a family?

Katie // “Between our hour-long commutes, Chris’s shift work, and my odd hours, we don’t get a lot of time together as a whole family. For that reason I would have to say our most favourite thing to do is stay home and have what Chris calls “from pyjamas to pyjamas” days! We drink our coffee extra slow on those mornings and just watch our beautiful, Everly flourish!”

The Mosers

I had such a good time photographing this special growing family of mine during the ‘golden hour’ last weekend. I am thankful to have captured some of these great keepsakes while they share their last few weeks as a family of three. Enjoy.

With love, Chels.

What are you most looking forward to as you prepare for the birth of the new baby?

“Besides bringing a healthy baby into this world, I think one of the things we are looking most forward to is finally finding out if baby number two is a boy or a girl! I have been much more curious this time to find out, but I love the surprise too much to actually find out. Either way we can’t wait to hold our newest little one for the first time.”

How do you think the new baby will fit into your family dynamic?

“Baby number two will likely run the show for a little while and we will certainly see some changes to how our family runs. I know that (one day) Leland will be a great big brother and I am looking forward to see how he is with the new baby. We have been practicing with a baby doll for the last few months. There are days when he shh’s the baby to sleep and gives the baby a bottle but there are also days when he throws the baby to the ground, stands on her and proudly yells “ta-da!” Our family dynamics will likely be a work in progress for the next little while. But we are excited for these changes and will take them as they come.”
